07-05-2010   -   The recording date is booked !   Rusty Roots will be recording their third album at Art sound studio this summer together with Belgian’s finest producer Mark Tee. Al the songs on the new album will be written by Rusty Roots and as we said before it will be something completely different than the two previous recordings. The presentation of the album will take place in the MOD around February 2011 and will be hosted by Move 2 blues. As soon as we can confirm a date we will let you know.   24-02-2010   -   New CD Coming up   Rusty Roots is currently working on a new album, it will be something completeley different then the previous ones. Roots and blues music is our biggest love and will be present on the new album, but we wouldn't be Rusty Roots if we didn't give it our own spin. We are working hard and hope to record the album somewhere at the end of the summer. We will keep you informed, Rusty Roots   29-12-2008   -   Take care Mr. lazy eyed steve   Met een zware krop in de keel en heel veel pijn in het hart moeten we afscheid nemen van één van onze medeoprichters. Steven Scheelen is zeer plots overleden op zaterdag 27 december. Hij was voor ons niet alleen een fantastisch en geniaal muzikant maar ook een eigenzinnige vriend met een warme, liefdevolle en gevoelige persoonlijkheid. We zullen zijn muzikale bijdrage op zijn sax meer dan missen in de muziek wereld, maar we troosten ons met de gedachten dat hij op deze reis anderen gelukkig kan maken met zijn talenten. Rusty Roots   25-12-2008   -   prettige feesten toegewenst   Aan iedereen prettige feesten toegewenst en een gelukkig nieuwjaar.   21-12-2008   -   Wuff's Blues session   Gitarist Bob en Zanger Jan zijn uitgenodigd op de blues Jam van Wuff (Drummer Electric Kings). Zij zullen er samen twee avonden vullen met pure, onversneden en onvoorbereide blues muziek en dit samen met Wuff en Nico op drum, Wouter Celis (rythm Bombs) op mond harmonica en Bert (Big Four) op double bas. Vuurwerk verzekerd. De eerste jam zal doorgaan op 8 Januari in de Mops Gaverlandstraat 131-133 B-9120 Melsele en de tweede op 29 januari in de Woerd te Hingene Leopoldstraat 9. Kom zeker een kijkje nemen op één van de twee Jam's om het nieuwe jaar in roots stijl te starten.   19-09-2008   -   You Tube   Hi ya’ll, We’ve finally figured out how to add our recorded shows to YouTube, what can I say, we're musicians and don’t know crap about the digital world. Zopas mogen we daar nu ook USA bij plaatsen. De Californische zender "Kuci" heeft onze cd opgepikt en draait deze regelmatig in hun blues programma "The Blues Disease".
